    I had been having to call customer service about once a month. My cell phone service was not working more than it was. I had spent more time talking to customer service on someone else%u2019s phone than I spoke to people on my phone. Then they screwed up my account even worse: lost my minutes, days, even my phone number. They kept telling me they could not recover the information and do not give refunds.   • Tracfone Lousy Service!!!



    TracFone refuses to provide call detail records to prove how/if you used the minutes you purchased. Their "Customer Service/Technical Support" is farmed out to non-English speakers overseas and it is dificult to understand them or for them to understand you. They lack knowledge of their own operations and come across as uncaring/apathetic. I suspect that thyey cheat their customers as far as usage is concerned and attempt to cover it up. More...

    I purchased a Tracfone and a 1 year 800/minute/double minute card back on 4/18/08 as of 2/21/09 I still have not been able to activate or use my phone. I have contacted Tracfone customer service numerous times to only get "Im sorry for this inconvenience let me try to help you but the issue has not been resolved. I was informed by floor supervisors that I had a bad phone if I went and purchased another one they would credit my minutes. I did this 3 times and I still have not had use of this phone.     I would like to caution anyone about getting a trachoma. Their phones are not good phones. I bought a new phone and right when I was talking on it, it went dead. I had only had it for a month. After getting transferred around and spending hours on the phone they said it was a defective phone and they would replace it. I received a reconditioned phone. I said I bought a new phone, and wanted it replaced with a new phone. They said they only replaced it with a reconditioned phone.     my original phone stopped working,i called tracfone .after a long wait i spoke to someone who walked me through a processto make sure the phone didnt work.they agreed to send a new phone .that phone didnt work either.i also paid 50.00 dollars for a card that would double my mins. each time i added mins.in the process of sending phones back and forth....i lost the 44mins. i had on the phone and they never added my double mins. ........so i wont spend anymore time on the phone with them .....i think ill just throw the phone away More...

    If you do get through to someone.....you can barely hear them...and the fact that they are located somewhere like India is not helpful. They might want to help....but if you can't hear them..or understand them..it does not work!!! They are all rude. They refer you to another source that, of course, doesn't work...so you keep repeating a bad situation... I will never again recommend to anyone that they purchase a Tracfone...     tracFone abuse of customers tracFone made phones obsolete. i was notified i had such an obsolete phone and tracfone would send me their new style free of charge. i got the phone. it is defective. when you call tracfone to tell them that, they fail to respond. they do not speak english very well so it takes them a long time to respond. they also do not want to send a new phone to replace the defective one, i spent hours on the telephone so far and still am without my new working phone. this company is the pits. their customer service is deficient. they fail to honor what they tell... I bought a phone phone that arrived a week ago. The original SIM card that came in didn't work that they had to send a new one, which never arrived after a overnight promise. I called them and they promised another overnight that didn't arrive either. They don't even put you their supervisor who can help you. Seriously considering send the phone back and get out of tracfone deal. .... very disappointed and upset. They got to shape up..it's a big deal.

I purchased two new Tracfones from Tracfone February 12, 2009. I received both February 16. I wanted to keep my old T-mobile phone numbers so I requested the transfer. One phone was "ported" in five days but the T-mobile account was cancelled for both in one day resulting in no phone service for either set of phones. When I tried to add airtime to the "ported" phone it got nothing but error messages. I went through all the code entering to try to correct the problem. It is has now been seven days and I finally got the airtime applied to my phone. But, now I'm worried there is still a problem because the service says I need to add airtime by October 25, 2075. Pretty amazing since the phone and I will probably be long dead by 2075. I would suggest to anyone wanting a prepaid cell phone to do a lot more research than I did and find a reliable service with an American help center with English speaking technicians. I called the one phone number so many times that I think I have a cauliflower ear. Happy hunting.

I HAVE A TRCFONE AND HAVE BEEN HAPPY .I LOVE IT BUT THEY LIE ABOUT THE PROM CODE EVEN WHEN THEY WORK .I HAVE ADDED TIME N 2 ACCASIONS AND REFUSED PROM CODE THAT DID WORK .AND I NEW THEY WORKED .I AM ABOUT TO GET A PHONE PLAN BECAUSE .IT IS COSTING MORE .FOR MINUTES THAN PLAN .VERY DIS SATIFIED VONIA
